About the role:
Daftarkhwan is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Associate to join our Legal Affairs team. This is a full-time, on-site position in Lahore. The ideal candidate will focus on managing legal documents, contracts, and records while ensuring compliance with legal regulations and internal policies. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, maintain, and update a database of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence.

  • Ensure timely filing and indexing of all legal records, both digital and physical, for quick retrieval.

  • Review, record, and track contracts, ensuring completeness and proper execution.

  • Monitor contract lifecycles, renewals, and termination dates to enable timely actions.

  • Maintain accurate logs of legal documentation and case files in compliance with policies and regulations.

  • Archive outdated documents as per retention policies while ensuring easy access to current records.

  • Act as the focal point for all company matters related to legal, regulatory, and government entities.

  • Draft and finalize legal documents as per company requirements.

  • Assist management and inter-department teams to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

  • Liaise with external legal associates for complex matters requiring extended support.

  • Conduct periodic audits of legal records to identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Prepare legal reports, summaries, and presentations for the C-suite.

  • Handle correspondence related to legal documentation with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.

  • Recommend enhancements to document management systems to improve efficiency and security.

  • Ensure confidentiality and data protection protocols are maintained in handling sensitive legal information.


About you:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or a related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in legal management or a similar role. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in legal administration are also encouraged to apply.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in G-Suite and document management software.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

  • A sound understanding of legal frameworks and contract structures.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.

  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.

  • Commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
